Do you find yourself watching movies based solely on the fact that you like the actor/actress in it? I've been doing that lately(it was the main reason for picking up King Arthur, that and the .73 cent price tag). I've been watching slews of bad Vinnie Jones and Jason Statham movies, because i like the actors. I sat through Blast! and The Number One Girl, i know it's sad. I see Statham and Jones as the new Stallone and Dolph. Its like they play the same character in each movie, just with a different plot line. It seems Jones is the goto guy for any action movie now, direct to video or not. It's sad, he's a decent actor.

I'm usually drawn more to directors than actors.

There are some actors who I'll watch anything that they're in, and only because they're in it. Seagal, Norris, Arnie, Thomas Ian Griffith, Dolph etc... in the same vein, I'll also watch anything with ninja/cyborg/robot in the title.
And yes, Statham is the new Stallone, but The Rock is the new Arnie.

I also like Jason Statham, I really enjoyed "Revolver" and I am not sure why it was never realesed in North America, or if it was it did not have much promotion behind it.
I do watch films to see actors I like. I do this with actors such as: Christain Bale, Jet Li, Shido Nakamura *favorite actor*, Angus Macfadyen, Sam Jackson to name a few.
Older actors like Clint Eastwood, Sonny Chiba, Bruce Lee, ToshirĂ´ Mifune to name a few.
