Why exactly does Philip get counted 6 times during the flashbacks? He was never killed at any time during these flashbacks and he doesn't die at that time when they really go into the house. They aren't even flashbacks - they are ideas of what they "could" do, in the future.

See everytime you post a question, the movie gets bumped to the end of the queue therefore losing its spot, if you have a question over a count please put it in "Corrections and Disputes"
any onscreen kill is counted, whether it be flashbacks, dream sequences, or plans. theyre all combined kills for shaun and ed. shaun and ed are seen smashing philip in the head with their assorted tools, this counts as a death. mind your manners

My guidelines do stipulate that the "final" kill should be the one that counts but I realize that films with flashbacks or dreams do show kills or a body hit like A Scanner Darkly even if those are imagined or not finalized. This site does specialize in "on screen kills." I think we need to have both types identified in these types of films to alleviate the confusion. Dave, can I get a tally from you with those counted and one with them not counted. (IE Total=# (without flashback/dream KILLS=#))
