The problems this week has caused me to finally create a FAQ page for the site. I want you guys to review it and see if I missed anything. I'll also be creating a thread for anyone new (newbies) who come to the site to review what is expected here... www.moviebodycounts.com/faq.htmI also want to thank all of you again for everything that you do for the site!! My debt is yours!!

Wait..we can count "knock outs" as kills? Awww fuck... That means quite a lot of the movies ive done should have more kills... I'm not sure if you are teasing or being serious Dave. An example is Equilibrium. I've heard quite a few non-fans complain that many of Preston's hits might actually be "knock outs" and not "kills". At that point you kind of have to judge the character and the intention of the director. In Preston's case then they are all dead. Are you volunteering to create it??

Like I stated...it's subjective...some will count these some won't. I'm not really sure how to clarify them. I had one of those in Escape from New York but judging from the way Snake hit him and the fact that Snake is ruthless I counted it as a kill. I've also added the following to the page... Q. I do not like or agree with the Guidelines you use to gather your totals. Will you use my criteria instead?
A. No-can-do but feel free to begin your own body count website. I would love the competition. - JenGe

Dave, I also placed the following note on the Escape From New York count...
NOTE-Any hits by Snake I counted as kills since he is "special unit" and I doubt even if those who survived his hits would have recovered in the given environment. If you disagree please feel free to post it...

There...you happy?? I think it looks awesome!! www.moviebodycounts.com/faq.htmI added my "blue" left line that all of my graphics have. Sure but don't make them much bigger then the one you just made. Try to keep them all the same size so that there is uniformity between the pages.

Wait..we can count "knock outs" as kills? Reading this again I want to say No, not necessarily. That is what I mean by subjective. Other sites might count these no questions asked. That is why I mentioned it in the section of why counts may differ from site to site. We do try to be more careful here with our counts and stick with mortal wounds or characters that specialize in"death." It does help if a counter notes these types though for people who might want to count them or wonder why they are not listed especially if other sites do list them. So far you guys have done an awesome job with these!! I really cannot complain at all and up to this point I trust and agree with most judgements made.

Just start a new thread for them or email the links to me once you are done.

Thanks!!! I'll get them on site later this week maybe before I add the next count. I'm running out to see Stranger Than Fiction now. Don't think that will make the site but one never knows.

Sorry that I haven't gotten to these yet Dave. I need a block of time to format them and upload them to the site which I just do not have right now. I'll get to these as soon as I have a few hours to devote to it. Until that time I will be doing other counts. Sorry about that. Should have it completed by sometime early next week...I hope.

"hey someone should try to name all the movies... "
Err... American Beauty, Black Mask, pass, pass, Enter The Dragon, pass... no G... Hard Boiled, Indiana Jones, Jason X, pass, pass, Mission: Impossible, pass, Once Upon A Time In Mexico, Pulp Fiction, pass, Ronin, pass, pass, pass, pass, The Warriors?, X-Men, pass, pass.
I fail. But I bet I've seen the majority of the ones I didn't get right.

H is not Hard Boiled. Does anyone wear ski-masks in that movie? Anyway putting hard boiled or equilibrium would be overkill, theres too much of that imagery on this site anyway. Noone will get L or U.

Sorry for my lack of updates, finals are coming up and i'm 21 credits away from not going to school for a while. I've mainly been watching movies with my friends/gf, and i don't want to bring a pen and paper to beer night. I did watch Screamers last night and that had a decent body count, so maybe i'll rewatch it. Iron Monkey had like 5 kills(unless you want to count any kicks/punches to the head as kills and we'll be up to the hundreds), so i don't think it's worth doing. I bought 1941, King Arthur, Gattaca and Stallone's Cobra, so i'll get to them.
