This will have to be finalized frame by frame with the DVD to get an accurate count since the "shaky cam" makes it quite difficult in a theater setting but here is an approximation...
Approximate Film Total: 50(+) Misc: 2 mention in opening scene but not shown, flashes of bodies in news footage, covered bodies
Cops: 2 shot by Luke Julian killed: 1 Jasper killed: 1 by Luke Cid killed: 1 by Theo Body Shown: 1 Confrontation: about 11 Battle: around 30 or more Bexhill Water: 2 bodies in the foreground Theo dies: 1
Note: Character tallies will also need to be completed with the DVD.

Theo doesnt die, he's unconscious from the blood loss.
The ending portion is scene for scene of the book, and you can see him breathing.

I just posted the following to your comment on the Unbreakable thread...
"We do not go by the Screenplays here or outside sources. Unless a film states otherwise we will count them as kills (same with Children of Men but note that there is a dispute about it.)"

Most of the synopsis' ive read about the movies on other sites list him as unconscious, because its a gut shot, you just pass out from blood loss.

Most of the synopsis' ive read about the movies on other sites list him as unconscious, because its a gut shot, you just pass out from blood loss. It is a "mortal wound" & he goes out. Without any further info in the film (or the DVD, or director's commentary) that Theo is actually unconscious, on this site we count that as a "kill." Sorry but on this site any speculation of unconscious or "knock out" especially in regards to a mortal wound without further information in the film is errored on the side of a kill. You, yourself, saw to that with the Sin City Discussion. People have lived through "head wounds"...screwdrivers in their head. There is no evidence that character actually dies in Sin City yet you insisted that it should count. You can't have it both ways.

I found a quote from the director which should put an end to all of this... And that spirituality and transformational ability of hope is reflected in the film. “As much as the Nativity reference in regards to spiritual archetype [in Children of Men] is present,” says the director, “for Clive Owen’s character his archetype is more Moses. He dies before he sees the Promised Land. The difference is that, in the Bible, Moses died before seeing the Promised Land because he doubted and he was punished while here [Owen] dies because he doesn’t need to see the Promised Land." www.moviefreak.com/artman/publish/interviews_alfonsocuaron.shtmlAlfonso Cuaron: ...You see the Clive Owen character more than Joseph is Moses. He's the guy who dies before seeing the Promised Land. The difference is that in the Bible Moses dies before he sees the Promised Land because he doubted. In Clive's character, he dies before seeing the Promised Land because he doesn't need to see the Promised Land. He recovered what he was looking for which was his sense of hope. And as long as you have that sense of hope, then you do not need confirmation of things. www.darkhorizons.com/news06/cuaron.phpSomeone needs to go correct all of those synopsis' out there. They are wrong.
