pitch black is in queues so i don't know if this goes here but you forgot a couple kills:
in the same scene the captain is killed by comet fragments (i think?), fry finds another crewman killed by comet fragments.
in the same scene that the second boy (hassan?) dies, johns shoots and kills a creature.

My mistake. The second one I admit I forgot to write down. Thanks for catching it! I'll change it after I check the first one. I'll have to wait until I get the unrated version from Netflix next week, I already returned it to Blockbuster.com long ago. I only have the regular version of Pitch Black.
But I understand that the scenes in question aren't affected in the unrated version, so I might check my copy anyway. Do you have an exact time in the movie for that crewman killed by the meteor shower, Deckard?

this is the unrated version. i don't think i've actually seen another version.
i don't know the exact time for the death but it is after the captain bites it. it's not onscreen but the corpse is discovered and is in the background for most of the scene where they try to stop the crash.

OK, I just got the unrated version and I tried to find a possible fourth crew-member’s body. There is a fourth cryo-locker in the nav-bay, but there are only three crew members that I can account for. According to the screenshots, there are 40 cryo-lockers (commercial passengers) and 3 crew-members being monitored. Owens confirmed later that there were 40 passengers on the ship when he made his SOS call. No mention of other crew members. I couldn’t account for the fourth cryo-locker as a body (see below). I’ve accounted for two of the crew, the third is Fry. (I did mislabel the second one. The first killed is the Captain by micro-meteorite shower, second one is the nav officer Owens impaled. Not “docking captain”—Carolyn Fry is the docking pilot. But that doesn’t change the numbers.) I’m not sure which frames you mean. But I’ll try to list all the frames I saw and the reason why I don’t count them as bodies. 1. Maybe you saw that one cryo-locker where the shower hit the first time (02:56) but whoever was in there (I’m thinking it was the Captain) didn’t seem to be affected (the micro-meteorites might have passed through the locker frame or through non-vital parts) and the screenshot (03:13) shows “40 cryo-lockers intact and operational” right after that. I assumed that the computer would automatically detect death, as it picked up the Captain’s death almost immediately. I couldn’t even account for this as a mortal hit as the body itself couldn’t be seen being hit. 03:13 03:23 03:24 3. Or the cryo-locker next to Fry’s (03:27) but the body wasn’t visible, if there was one. (However unlikely, blood splatter may be from the Captain’s which is right across it.) 4. Or the one in frame 03:46 in the background, but that was the captain. (Owens was in the left cryo-locker, the Captain in the right.) 5. Or this one in 04:09 and again in 5:14 that kept showing up with Owens. It could be the Captain, the elusive fourth crew-member or a passenger. It did seem to be wearing a uniform, but so was Johns, and a couple of other passengers wore uniform-like garments. At any rate, from those frames I couldn’t determine if there was any clear trauma or mortal hit to the body (it was still upright, the red tinge is from the red light that was in all the cryo-lockers). And again no mention by Owens and Fry or the computer about a fellow crew-member. Based on the previous points and screenshots, I honestly still can’t rule this one as a body. Neither commentary (there are two) mentioned anything about it. They did mention at one point that the actor playing the Captain was pushed forward to appear being hit by the micro-meteorites, and they used a shot of Cole Hauser for Owens just before he fell out of the cryo-locker. Thanks for bringing Johns’ creature kill to my attention, Deckard. I’ll modify it as soon as I can.

during a couple scenes you see a woman in the background in her cryotube and i thought you could see blodstains. just went throught again and you can't, so yeah it doesn't count.
