I'm going to do Scanners soon, and in it people can posess other people and make them do stuff. So if the bad scanner(michael ironside) is posessing a cop and makes that cop kill someone, who gets the kill, the cop or the scanner?

That would depend on how obvious the possession of the person is. If you see them become possessed, surely it would be Ironside's kill.

As Wheels stated it would depend on if that possession was obvious. An example is Face Off. Castor Troy would get his kills no matter who plays him...Cage or Travolta but then each actor would have to have his count as well..
1. Face Off Example...
Characters
Castor Troy: # (# by Cage, # by Travolta)
2. Another Example...
You could also create a "possession" breakdown in the same way...
Ironside's kills: # (# as such&such, # as whoever, # as...)
