Connery, 007 franchise, and Hamilton (directed four Bond films in total and Force 10 From Navarone).
Misc
Implied death of Blofeld, even though he sort-of re-appears in For Your Eyes Only 10 years later. Mentioned death of an officer killed by Franks, a submarine and two choppers blow up, and there's a nuclear accident in Russia. These fall into three categories:
- Bodies never seen (the guy killed by Franks plays no part in the entire film, and the Russian nuclear accident is never shown);
- No bodies countable (the choppers that blow up and the submarine are never shown from anything but a long distance, and there's no way of even guessing how many bodies are on board)
- Overly long cut-away (Blofeld's "death" is about 40 seconds after he's last shown, and he can't be confirmed as dead even though the chance of surviving is less than zero.
EDIT: One other thing: the implied deaths I've given to Glover are because he was shown with the people killed in their last scenes alive, and two shots later they're dead. Since Glover plays an odd hitman, killing pretty much everyone he meets in order to get the diamonds, and he's at the location, it's fairly obviously him.
