Personally I voted against it. It is easy to place a bunch of body bags around a set instead of showing an actual kill or body.
That is my logic but I will leave it up to the vote of the membership. It certainly is a gray area.

I'm saying only if there is an outline of a body, like you can visibly see an outline, not just a poofed body bag

If the bag seems to have a corpse in it, or is implied to contain one, it makes sense to count it.

I agree with slatribartfast, if a body is in there, then it should be counted

I think that if we do add these to the totals we need to specify how many are body bags like we do with the "imagined" kills.
Example:
Total: xxx (xx shown, xx body bags)

So are we doing this now? I think the guideline should just be if you actually see the physical outline of a body not just a poofed bag.

So are we doing this now? I think the guideline should just be if you actually see the physical outline of a body not just a poofed bag. Right now I am seeing several problems with adding these as "official" counts. 1. It changes the rules in the middle of the game. Films already on the site will have to be recounted or changed that have not added body bags. Potentially a lot of extra work for me. 2. People will argue over a "poof" or not which will lead to "geek" arguements by fanboys & anti-fans about a kill that is really not actually shown. 3. It changes the basic rules of the site that a body "must" be shown in some form. See Simple Guidelines:- Can you see a dead body plainly? count it - Can you see a mortal hit? count it - Did someone die on screen? count it - Was a scene shown and then at the last second "cut away?" count it - Use an officially released director's, extended, or unrated cut of a film over theatrical releases. No bootleg/leaked versions please. - Only count wide and limited released films (US, Worldwide, or native country). No TV movies, shows, or straight to DVD/video!!!
- Anything else is extra and/or misc. (planes, ships, houses, planets...) and is really only for fun but not necessary. [/color] Body bags really should be classified under "Anything else." If we change this now it will change the parameters of the counts. I really need to think about this more before I officially change it. For the time being keep body bags listed under Misc but do not add them to the final tally.
