Genre: Action / Adventure / Sci-Fi / Thriller 2005 Total Movie Body Count: Humans-51, ** Alien-1, Tripods-3 * Total Alien Body Count: 50 Total Ray Ferrier (Tom Cruise) Body Count: Harlan - 1, Tripod-1 Movie Breakdown: Heat Ray: Man with camcorder (cutaway) - 1, Vaporized humans- 14 Escape: Manny vaporized- 1 Human Toll: Floating human bodies - 32 Alone with Harlan: Harlan - 1, Man killed by tripod - 1 Earth under them: Man sucked up by tripod - 1, Tripod destroyed by Ferrier - 1 In Boston: Already dead tripod - 1, tripod Killed by army unit - 1 Wreckage: Alien from tripod - 1 Ferrier Breakdown: Alone with Harlan: Harlan - 1 Earth under them: Tripod - 1 Alien Tripods Breakdown: Heat Ray: Man with camcorder (cutaway) - 1, Vaporized - 14 Escape: Manny - 1 Human Toll: Floating bodies - 32 Alone with Harlan: Man -1 Earth under them: Man sucked up by tripod - 1 * I'm not sure how many aliens are in each tripod. Only one is seen going into the ground and only one is seen coming out of the wreckage in the end. There may be more, so I'm listing the tripods as a separate body count. **Jen, I corrected the total movie count from 44 human bodies to 51, and aliens body count from 43 to 50.
